I won't mention the name of the tire repair chain that has several LV locations but they exercise free air checks and gratis tire patches even if you didn't buy your tires from them. They have "discount" tires for those that didn't know what company I was talking well-nigh.

Anyhow, my low pressure light came on, I stopped for a free air cheque, the guy saw one tire was very nether inflated and noticed a blast in the tire. They took off the tire, patched it, and I was out the door in 40 minutes. I got a receipt for $0.00 that explained what they did. Fantabulous customer service and everything done with a smile and nil attempt at an upsell.

2 weeks later, no issues nonetheless. Anyway, I tipped $x. Was that enough? Too much? What's the protocol hither for how much to tip?

Way I expect at is, what'south it worth to yous? A couple years agone I noticed a nail in i tire, we were living in an apartment and of course I didn't have my portable compressor or tire plug kit. Drove down a cake, he not only plugged it, which is always the standard where I'm from simply took the tire off and patched it. I was expecting thirty-50 bucks. He said, 'whatever yous call back is fair'. I gave him 30 and didn't look back. He was happy and then was I. Yeah, I know that'due south too much for a tip, simply it needed to be done and at the time I didn't have the ways for the repair. It'southward still belongings up today.

I don't know if y'all are being serious as the name of the tire chain has already been mentioned so I underlined it in Airics postal service.
